Here’s what we know.

Wash your hands.

SARS-CoV-2 has a lipid (fatty) barrier around it. Soap is very effective at destroying it. Sanitizers also work, but a much higher concentration is needed, so soap is preferable when you have access to it. Wash for 20 seconds or more, because the soap needs time to break the lipid barrier. Wash often and don’t touch your face.

Avoid people.

It sounds harsh, but the best way to prevent the spread is by avoiding other people. One of the main reasons ERSV is operating is to help vulnerable people stay away from markets and pharmacies.
